Roses under a glass dome, lit from inside by a warm string of tiny lights. In daylight it's a quiet object on a shelf. After dark it becomes the warmest thing in the room.

Powder-blue and cream silk roses, hand-shaped petal by petal, with white gypsophila and green sprigs reaching for the top of the glass. No water. No care. Nothing to replace.

What it's made of

  • Real glass — a tall optical dome that stays clear instead of clouding like acrylic
  • Solid wood base — turned with a stepped edge, sanded smooth, lifts off for cleaning
  • Silk roses — hand-dyed, so no two are quite alike. Hold colour 3+ years
  • Warm LEDs — a hair-thin wire woven through the bouquet, switch underneath
  • 8.1in tall — a centrepiece on a table, small enough for a bedside shelf
